About the Luthier:
Miguel Romero is a visual artist and luthier. He has both a BFA and an MFA in sculpture. He lived for 20 years in the USA and Germany, and is Visual Arts Professor at The National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), where he founded the LUTHIERLAB, which is dedicated to researching the combination of science and art to create experimental and traditional musical instruments out of sustainably-obtained native woods. He makes ukuleles, didley bows, dulcimers, and has recently begun his first two baroque guitars
